Scholarships and Financial Aid
The UA Fred Fox School of Music has a very well-developed and diverse scholarship program. Your completed UA Application and Fred Fox School of Music Application and Audition serve as your application for scholarship consideration. There are a variety of ways in which financial assistance packages can be put together for students. These awards range from State of Arizona-based tuition remissions to Fellowships and privately endowed scholarships.
The Fred Fox School of Music Scholarship Committee endeavors to make awards to deserving students by April of each year after reviewing all recommendations following auditions and interviews by the various faculty panels, taking into account the needs of the Fred Fox School of Music. The successful student will demonstrate a high level of music accomplishment on a given instrument or voice, along with an admirable academic record and educational aptitude.
The saxophone studio has a teaching assistantship that is awarded to a deserving masters or doctoral student, who will assist Dr. Goodman in teaching and administrative duties, while being provided tuition assistance as well as a monthly stipend.
